A public adjuster is a licensed professional claims adjuster and advocate. We prepare, present, and negotiate your property claim with your insurer. A Public Adjuster is solely your representative, an authority on loss adjustments who you can retain to assist you in preparing, filing, and adjusting your insurance claims.
A physical inventory is taken, obtain all pertinent appraisals and make sure all provisions in your policy are properly fulfilled. This often involves numerous steps of which you may know little or nothing, but can make a significant difference in the amount of the final adjustment.
Yes you are able to file your own claim, although we don’t recommend it. Insurance polices can be hard to understand at times, and can be comprised of very complex language and technical terms that make it sometimes difficult to understand. Our Public Adjusters come to you with skill and expertise in this area and will help to decipher any questions that may arise during this process.
Yes you are able to mange your own claim, but again not highly recommended. There is a lot of insurance policy language that can become very confusing and we want to make sure that you get paid the maximum amount. Many times we are asked to help clients who have unsuccessfully tried to work through this process by themselves. If the insurance companies hire the best why shouldn’t you? We are here to help and focus on your best interests.
